Operator Belt Attendant - Wessels Mine at South32

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As an Operator Belt Attendant, you will be responsible  is to be safely monitor and clean conveyor systems.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• In Transfer material by means of belt conveyors
• Attend to blockages and spillages;
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area;
• Responsible for safety and good housekeeping in the Company filing system.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a mining environment.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Grade 10 for internal employees and Grade 12 for external employees;
• Valid Code B Driver’s license.
