Operator / Packer at Essity

What You Will Do

• Receive log roll from Adhesive Spreading or Tunnel 2.
• Place roll into auto or hand lathe slit rolls according to required size.
• Ensure auto and hand lathe slitting process is pre-set with the required measurements set.
• Pack into cartons or spools for shrink wrapping.
• Maintain good housekeeping and Good Manufacturing Practices conditions in Rollplaster .
• Ensure that waste is monitored daily and is within the required standards.
• Perform standard quality checks.
• Report any faults or defects to the team leader.

Who You Are

• Must have Matric with basic numeric skills.
• Previous production experience would be advantageous.
• Must be physically fit and be able to work across the site, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to work both independently & within a team and be able to work with and without supervision.
• Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Must be trustworthy and reliable.
