Operator: Screen Print at South African Bank Note Company

Job Summary:

To produce high quality security printing product according to customer specifications and SABN standards.
Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

•  To produce products as per set targets and in full compliance with quality standards.
•  To ensure that machines are operated according to SOPs.
•  To minimise wastage in every activity within set targets.
•  To ensure basic autonomous maintenance tasks and report any defective performance to Section Head.
•  To ensure workplace remains in accordance to 20 Keys standards.
•  To ensure that all safety, health and environment regulations and standards are adhered to, inter alia, by         complying with PPE regulations.
•  To contribute to continuous improvement and living out of SABN values.

The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:

•  Grade 12; and
•  N4 – N6 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
•  Minimum of 2 years of printing production experience with Screen printing experience (desirable).

Knowledge and Skills:

•  Screen printing process.
•  Numeracy skills.
•  Computer literate (MS suite) - basic.
•  Communication skills (verbal and written).
