Perform various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and clean/sanitize machinery according toset standards to meet production KPI’s and adhering to HACCP and GMP principles.
Responsibilities:
Perform production tasks
Ensure and verify adequate materials and supplies are available at the right quality to complete operations
Accurate completion of production related paperwork
Perform production line opening and complete all relevant documentation
Operate/monitor multiple pieces of line equipment during operation to ensure efficient, quality production
Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
Maintain OEE through maintenance, correct set up and minimizing changeovers
Maintain housekeeping and quality/ safety standards
Perform maintenance checks and troubleshooting generated
Set up accurately, maintain and troubleshoot machinery and process tooling.
Requirements
Grade 12 certificate, preferably with Maths
Technical N2 qualification is essential
At least 2 years’ experience in a GMP environment performing the relevant job
Technical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
Knowledge of GMP and HACCP
Knowledge of health and safety
Valid each Truck/Forklift Licence would be advantageous
Previous experience in compression /coating machine operating sector would be advantageous
Basic computer skills
Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools Above average accuracy, problem solving & time management skills
