Ops Manager: Core Network Field Ops at Telkom

Core Description    

• To manage and supervise the operations and maintenance, commissioning(ATP/QA) and services activities within a geographical or functional area, of the core communications network. This includes all Network related elements (Property/Buildings/EPS/HVAC), through planning, leadership, coordination, measurement and control, making optimal use of resources to ensure that the network is functioning within acceptable standards.

Required Certification    

• None.

Qualifications    

• Relevant 3 year technical qualification and relevant modular training (at least NQF level 6) or Grade 12 with maths & science and relevant modular training (NQF level 4)

Experience    

• 3 Years relevant experience at Operational level or 5 Years relevant experience at Operational level

Special Requirements    

• Valid driver's license
