We are seeking highly skilled Organisational Design Specialists who will focus on delivering key design components including job architecture, designing structures & operating models and workforce planning that aligns with our Business Transformational objectives.
Are you someone who can:
Provide expert advice on organisational design best practices and trends, tailoring solutions to the specific cultural and operational context of the business.
Conduct detailed organisational diagnostics to evaluate existing structures, processes, and operating models, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business needs.
Design and implement optimised organisational structures that balance workforce capacity, functional responsibilities, team-centricity, and cost efficiency to achieve adaptability and sustainable business growth.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify and address pain points in operational workflows, recommending adjustments to roles, teams, or reporting structures to improve efficiency.
Refine and develop job architectures against job streams and corresponding job profiles, and whilst defining role governance to ensure effective and accurate application.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of design activities, including current and future state organisation charts, role definitions, and process maps, to ensure transparency and traceability.
Conduct impact assessment to identify potential workforce and role changes and define mitigation strategies, to ensure seamless implementation of organizational changes.
Define a workforce transition approach and plan, creating supportive documents and templates to assist in any transition required.
Develop an implementation plan to operationalize the structures & roles designed.
Ensure compliance with relevant labour legislation, industry regulations, and governance standards during the organisational design process.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree
Expertise in job architecture, organisational design and operating model development
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with senior stakeholders and drive change
Consulting /enterprise transformation experience
Contract Details:
Contract Duration: 6 months
Location : Hybrid ( Remote & On -site in Johannesurburg, South Africa)
