    Organisational Learning & Development Manager

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Partner with the business to identify organisational development/learning needs and devise solutions which deliver successful outcomes
    • Develop an integrated learning and development plan which aligns with the legislative skills authorities to ensure compliance with the Employment Equity and Skills Development legal frameworks as well as the Company’s corporate Learning and development framework
    • Ensuring mandatory learning and development requirements are consistently delivered to meet statutory requirements.
    • Formulate and oversee the delivery of an organisational annual development and training plan, offering a learning techniques and development opportunities
    • Lead on the development and implementation of fair and transparent learning & development policies and service standards
    • Responsibility for a suite of information management systems within the department that record and track learning, education and OD activity, attendance.
    • Develop a structured approach to talent management and succession planning that offers effective development for our people and ensure long term business continuity.
    • Develop and deliver an approach for coaching and mentoring.
    • Lead, develop and oversee the provision of the organisations learning and development agenda linked to the BEE strategy.
    • Ensure the implementation of robust and effective Performance Review system is and maintained embedded and regularly updated and refreshed to meet the needs of the business
    • Identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvements to drive employee engagement and retention
    • Executes engagement and cultural initiatives/events/programs for all employees
    • Assess, diagnose and co-develop interventions related to strategy, structure, process, culture, reward & recognition, performance and talent planning
    • Analyzing business structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • NQF level 7 HRM / Industrial Psychology qualification or equivalent qualification.
    • Driver's license.
    • Training, OD and Change Management experience 5 Year(s)
    • Experience of developing leadership and staff engagement programs
    • Experience of leading the development and coordination of talent management and succession strategies
    • Is highly credible to internal and external stakeholders and is committed to delivering high levels of customer service
    • Has strong analytic and critical reasoning skills to assess risks, anticipate difficulties and is capable of effective problem solving
    • Can demonstrate a strong knowledge of current employment legislation in relation to OD/L&D
    • Able to translate strategic goals into effective and achievable plans and is capable of monitoring their progress and outcomes
