Job Description

• Our client, based in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, is looking for an experienced Outbound Warehouse and Logistics Manager to lead their outbound warehouse, dispatch and distribution operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring on time and in full (OTIF) deliveries, maintaining finished goods stock integrity, optimising transport and logistics costs, managing fleet operations and driving continuous improvement across the outbound supply chain.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in outbound warehouse, dispatch or logistics management
• Minimum 3 years' experience in route scheduling and transport planning
• Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control and logistics budgets
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Office skills

Advantageous

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Project management experience
• Experience improving warehouse layouts and logistics processes

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the outbound warehouse, dispatch and distribution operations
• Ensure on time and in full (OTIF) deliveries to customers
• Optimise transport routes, fleet utilisation and logistics costs
• Maintain finished goods stock accuracy and inventory integrity
• Lead, coach and develop the warehouse and dispatch team
• Oversee picking, packing, dispatch and replenishment processes
• Manage third-party logistics providers and company fleet operations
• Drive continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency and logistics performance
• Implement and optimise Warehouse Management Systems and dispatch processes
• Collaborate with production, sales and finance to ensure effective order fulfilment
• Manage warehouse and logistics budgets while ensuring compliance with company standards and Good Warehouse Practices
