Packaging Line Team Leader X8 - Alrode Brewery at The South African Breweries (SAB)

• The Key Purpose of this role is to lead the SBU in the execution of the production plan, executing quality control and analyses, the  carrying out of autonomous maintenance tasks and the resolution of production problems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Co-ordinate and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Monitor production processes.
• Interpret and implement production plan for shift.
• Ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Build and foster relationships with customers and preferred suppliers.
• Ensure application of admin systems and procedures.
• Administer conditions of employment for team members.
• Contribute to self and team development.
• Prepare and control budgets.
• Apply problem solving and decision-making techniques and principles.
• Facilitate team problem solving.
• Develop employees.
• Ensure a healthy industrial relations climate.
• Manage and apply personnel practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree - Elec, Mech, Industrial, Instrumental, Chemical & Process Engineering.
• Completed Packaging traineeship ABInBev Leadership or Artisan Training.
• At least 3-5 years factory production experience.
• Demonstrated experience in shift production.
• A superior performance track record indicating a disciplined work ethic with passion for problem solving and continuous  improvement.
