Packer FTC at RCL Foods

• RCL FOODS is seeking a Packer FTC to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Team Leader. RCL FOODS entrusts the responsible individual to pack finished product and preparing finished product for shipment -specific to Beverages.

Minimum Requirements    
Minimum qualification and experience requirements

• Matric
• Read and Write
• Minimun 1 year beverage product packing 

Duties & Responsibilities    
Responsibilities

• Prepare corrugate boxes
• Pack cooled product into corrugate boxes according to sizes and quantity
• Palletize corrugated product boxes into pallets
• Before and after packing check to ensure corrugate boxes are damage free
• Verify on daily planning what need to be packed into corrugated boxes
• Remove completed or defective products or materials
• Shrink-wrap and label each corrugated product box
• Ensure good housekeeping
• Attend and participate in all relevant company safety programs
• Maintain workplace safety and follow established safety guidelines
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices this would include making sure that you wearing required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Utilizing continuous improvement mind-set, assist in identifying opportunities to improve process
• Work shifts as required
