About the Role

• The Parts Sales Representative at VW Fourways will be responsible for managing the sales of automotive parts and accessories to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
• This customer-facing role requires a strong understanding of automotive components and the ability to effectively communicate and advise customers on their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and support, establishing strong relationships with clients.
• Maintain an organized and efficient parts inventory, ensuring all products are properly stocked and accessible.
• Process orders and manage sales transactions accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with the service team to fulfill parts requirements for maintenance and repair jobs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to parts orders or specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive parts sales or a related retail environment.
• Solid understanding of automotive components and their functions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in automotive technology or sales.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems or dealership software.
• Knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles and parts catalog.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to drive vehicles on-site.
