The Payroll Supervisor will control accurate financial outcome of payroll by managing and co-ordinating payroll input, information upload, journal preparation and reconciliation, implementation of annual increases and tax reconciliation submission, Employee Leave Balances, Statutory audits and ad-hoc administrative functions.
About You.
Diploma in Accounting / HR Management / Payroll Administration (Degree will be advantageous)
5 years’ salary / wage payroll experience in a Supervisory role
High level of computer literacy with Microsoft packages (with emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
Knowledge of payroll principals, practices, regulations & procedures
Experience on Psiber payroll system will be an advantage
Experience with SAGE/VIP or ADP will also be an advantage
Workday payroll experience
Knowledge of applicable statutory & tax related laws
Broad understanding of payroll legislation
Knowledge of accounting practices & procedures
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
Strong administrative skills
Must be able to work on own initiative resolving issues as and when they arise
Able to manage own resources, prioritize and adhere to tight deadlines
Tact and diplomacy, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Must be capable of establishing good working relationships internally and externally
