    Pepkor CVM Account Manager

    Role Profile:

    The Senior Accounts Manager: Pepkor Customer Value Management position is based within the Consumer Business Unit.

    The successful candidate will need to manage the Vodacom and Pepkor customer base. The candidate will be required to align strategies from the various PEPKOR subsidiaries to ultimately grow the revenue on the Vodacom PEPKOR base. The candidate will be responsible for engagement at Strategic levels and execution.
    Measurements of success will include revenue growth, ARPU, Data active customers, reduction in Churn. Some of the channels to be included are PEP, Ackermans and Flash.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for managing strategic accounts and delivering  profitable, sustainable business
    • Ensures delivery of annual revenue targets through delivery of full product mix
    • Establishes appropriate relationships with customers in Vodacom and leverages those relationships to ensure maximum financial return from Vodacom customers
    • Works collaboratively to set up service relationship for nominated accounts

    Provide input to help with decisions about new propositions, product mix and services for customers
     

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • 8+ years experience in Account Management
    • A 3-year commercial (BCom/Business Science, IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
    • Intermediate SQL, data analysis (advantageous)
    • Direct Campaign Management Principles (preferred)

    OR

    • Matric / Grade 12 essential
    • A 3-year commercial (BCom/Business Science, IT) Degree or Equivalent qualification essential
    • 5+ years experience in Account Management essential
    • Intermediate SQL, data analysis (advantageous)
    • Direct Campaign Management Principles (preferred)

    Experience in Customer Value Management and relationship management with a track record of Account Management & Sales experience
    A thorough understanding of Retail & Informal Environment especially BOP/Mass Market and networking technologies and services & solutions
    Knowledge required of campaign management and system tools.
    Individual Thinking and Judgement required for the role – focus on delivery of Multi-step, multi-channel campaigns across payment types, automated and in volume.
    Strategic Elements of Role – direct impact of CVM revenue contribution targets through campaign execution and delivery on time, budge, quality.
    Operational Accountability and impact on service to customers – direct impact on customer service and experience through campaign execution quality on payment types
    Scale of Influence – Immediate revenue impact through campaign commercial performance.
