We are a local EPC company that executes agile multi-discipline engineering projects, with a typical lifecycle of 12-18 months, to clients with critical infrastructures. We love to solve local problems with local talent. Our projects consist of modifications done on existing factories, as well as green fields and renewable projects. Our project executions range from pure design (including conceptual design), up to total EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction).
Requirements
Carry out piping designs in the petrochemical and energy industries.
Generate typical piping drawings.
Site work to as-built existing piping and plan new routes for constructability and maintainability.
Generate plant design 3D models from scans.
Generate piping isometrics.
Selection and positioning of suitable piping support and routing to address stress requirements.
Generate general arrangement drawings with elevation and section views.
Ability to interpret project scope (Interpretation of P&ID’s and MFD’s).
Generate bills of materials from isometrics.
Teaching and coaching younger designers.
Collaborate with other disciplines – civil/instrumentation/process/electrical
Qualifications/Experience
NQF level 4 qualification in mechanical / piping design.
4-10 years’ experience in petrochemical or oil & gas piping designs.
Knowledge of and experience in working with CADWORX, BricsCAD, and/or MicroStation and Navisworks.
Driver’s license and own transport.
Valid passport.
