We are inviting suitable candidates to apply for the Planning Intern role within Belgotex's Production Planning department.

The successful candidate will aid the Planners in the day-to-day planning and sequencing of the production departments. The role will report to the Production Planning Manager.

Role Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all admin and adhoc duties as assigned by designated supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Perform with efficiency and accuracy the duties assigned
• Responsible for assisting the Planners in daily tasks including planning of work for departments
• and monitoring of schedules to ensure on time and in full targets are met.
• Deliver work of the highest standard, efficiently
• Develop Schedules for production departments and assist with reporting and data capturing as
• required.
• Keep Track off daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and any MTE/MTS projects on the
• plan.

Requirements

• Educational Requirements
• Grade 12 (with Maths)
• A completed Btech, Diploma, Degree in Supply chain management or Production/Materials planning or relevant equivalent qualification

Required Technical and Soft Skills:

• Computer literate and proficient in MS Office productivity tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions
• Continuous learning – a curious mind
• Good organisational skills
