Plant Maintenance Planner at Sylvania Platinum Limited

Sylvania Metals is looking for a Plant Maintenance Planner to support the Western Operations with regards to maintenance planning.

Key Performance Areas:

•  Effective coordination of the plants planned maintenance programs
•  Assist in establishing and implementing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) at different plants
•  Develop job plans
•  Propose maintenance strategies
•  Maintain master data;
•  Maintain asset tree;
•  Maintain employee data on Onkey;
•  Extract job cards due lists from Onkey;
•  Printing and distribution of job cards for planned and shutdown maintenance;
•  Printing and distribution of inspection and safety job cards;
•  Feedback of above job cards into Onkey;
•  Generate follow up job cards if required;
•  Do engineering spares analysis and propose improvements
•  Do stores requisitions for planned work;
•  Assist in drawing up shutdown plans;
•  Generation and distribution of ad hoc / reactive job cards;
•  Feedback of above job cards into Onkey;
•  Generate follow up job cards if required;
•  Do stores requisitions for unplanned work if required;
•  Draw reports from Onkey for agreed kpi’s;
•  Update downtime report on Power BI;
•  Update feed report on Power BI;
•  Extract plant runtime KPI reports for engineers and managers from Power BI;
•  Update overtime report on Power BI;
•  Assist with Engineering administrative duties;
•  General filing and administrative duties
•  Give guidance to Planning Clerks on all plants

Knowledge/Education Requirement:

•  Grade 12
•  Qualified artisan
•  Maintenance execution experience
•  Technical Knowledge of Plant equipment
• Plant Maintenance Planner

Experience and requirements:

•  Experience in a Planned Maintenance office beneficial
•  Good administration skills essential
•  Good understanding of asset care principles
•  Maintenance planning
•  Maintenance scheduling
•  Spares management
•  Master data management
•  KPIs’ reporting
•  Shutdown planning
•  Downtime capturing
•  Usage of Onkey
•  Above average computer literacy (MS Office)

Other Requirements:

•  Must reside in close proximity to the operations. (Rustenburg, Mooinooi area)
•  Valid code 8 driver’s license & own vehicle;
•  Must be able to travel between Western limb plants
