Plant Manager at Saint-Gobain

Why do we need you ?

• Lead safety, occupational health, environmental and site risk management, implementing effective controls and driving sustainability improvements.
• Deliver production plans and product quality standards through effective process control, meeting customer requirements for quantity, quality and delivery.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across production, reliability and the value chain through WCM, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies.
• Ensure plant reliability through effective asset care and execution of the annual maintenance plan, within agreed budgets.
• Coordinate capital investment and plant improvement projects, delivering agreed scope on time and within budget.
• Manage raw materials, spares and finished goods, including inventory, warehousing and distribution, to improve stock availability and customer service.
• Control operating expenditure, labour costs and resource utilisation, maintaining financial discipline and compliance with business controls.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing leadership team through clear goals, constructive feedback, mentoring, training and succession planning.
• Champion Saint-Gobain's Trust, Empowerment and Collaboration (TEC) culture by creating an environment where employees take ownership, contribute ideas, challenge constructively and work together to achieve shared business objectives.

Is this job for you ?

• You hold a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Process Engineering) together with a minimum of 5 years’ experience leading operations within a manufacturing, industrial, processing or similarly complex environment.
• You are a people-focused leader who thrives on developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence and creating a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement. With strong commercial awareness and leadership presence, you know how to translate strategy into measurable business results.
