Plantsifter Attendant - Krugersdorp Mill at PepsiCo

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

• The role of the incumbent is to maintain the sieve room spare stock levels, partake is sifter maintenance, sieve stretching and general plant maintenance.
• Spares stock control
• Sieve stretching
• Plantsifter and purifier maintenance
• Liaise with Mill team on requirements
• Conduct safety and cleanliness checks
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Adhere to safety requirements
• Conduct bin dips
• Cleaning of the Mill area
• Will be required to do general plant maintenance

Qualifications

• Health and safety standards
• Minimum: NQF 4 or Grade 12 or similar relevant qualification [Recognition of Prior Learning [RPL] will be applied based on SETA accreditations
• 6 months experience in the similar environment will be advantageous
• Computer literacy will be needed
• Forklift license will be an advantage
