We are seeking an experienced Platform Data Engineer to play a key role in one of our most exciting initiatives. This is a greenfield opportunity, where you will work within a cross-functional team of specialists, including data scientists and decision engineers, to build the product from the ground up. Your expertise will directly influence the data foundations that power this innovative solution. This role offers the opportunity to work at scale, innovate with new technologies, and shape a product with real market impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver robust, production-ready data solutions.
Work primarily with Python, SQL, and AWS, while engaging with other cloud platforms where relevant.
Explore and apply emerging technologies, such as large language models and graph databases, to drive innovation.
Contribute to a strong culture of knowledge sharing across the wider data engineering community.
What We Are Looking For
4+ years’ experience in data engineering or software engineering.
Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP also considered).
Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools is beneficial.
Previous exposure to consulting or financial services will be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving ability, adaptability, and comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
