Pool Cleaner - Rusternburg at Tsebo Solution

Duties & Responsibilities    
Operational Delivery:

• Inspect Dolphin Machine before use
• Visually check Bottom of the pool and remove any obstructions e.g. leaves, twigs and tree branches
• Power UP Machine and ensure no irregular sounds or leaks before deploying into the water
• Deploy correct Dolphin unit as per the specification provided below for each pool
• (list of different Dolphin machine variations)
• Report:
• Water Clarity to WWT
• Structure defects on Mosaic Tiles, Pool floors, Pump cover etc
• Move to the next Pool

Cleaning Cycle Completed:

• Remove Unit from the pool
• Inspect Unit and Accessories
• Remove Dirty Filter bag
• Insert exchange clean bag
• Wash removed bag
• Store machines in Safe area
• Monitor maintenance service date
• Machine mail function must be reported to WWT
• Report defects on Electrical Power Supplies

General Operational Parameters

• Remove all empty containers and return to the Engineering Workshop
• Ensure that all jobs are carried out in a safe and competent manner
• Clean-up work area on completion of a job
• Ensure the pool area and the storage areas are always kept clean and clear
• Carry out any duties as required and instructed by your direct line manager.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the OHS Act requirements

Customer Focus:

• Work with teams to develop and maintain a customer-focused attitude toward activities
• Interact with clients to provide and process information in response to enquiries, concerns and requests about services
• Work with processes and procedures in such a way that operational efficiencies and performance are enhanced
• Attend to and resolve all client queries timeously or escalate when necessary
• Follow up and follow through on all queries timeously and escalate when necessary.

Reporting:

• Update and maintain all relevant records as and when required by your line manager and the Water Waste Treatment team

Skills and Competencies    

• Knowledge of technical equipment, materials and chemicals
• Have a good knowledge of general maintenance.
• Familiar with instrumentation related to swimming pool
• Experience with technical systems required
• Excellent understanding of the hazards associated with swimming pool chemicals
• Hospitality and customer centric focus
• Knowledge required involves the practical application of work procedures and processes
• Communicates, co-ordinates and interacts with others in the value chain to ensure HVAC repairs, installations and upgrades are resolved
• Ability to manages one's time to ensure that objectives are achieved effectively and on time.
• Working experience of health & safety management and legislation

Qualifications    

• Matric
• Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining commercial swimming pools
