Portal Administrator Support

We at Redheads Engineering Solutions are assisting our client in finding a suitable candidate for a support portal administrator Role with a strong skill set in Liferay.  Someone with a minimum 3+ years of experience in development, administration, deployment, upgrading of Liferay portals would be highly desirable. Someone with a formal qualification in IT (Diploma / Degree) or equivalent working experience with Liferay would be a good fit. Applicant must have demonstrable experience in the maintenance and support of Liferay content management systems and have a firm grasp on Liferay administration principles.

Key Deliverables:

• Managing incidents relating to Portals using Administrative and Deployment skills of Liferay
• Exposure to the Integrating Portal with different external environments using Webservices
• Monitor and update production issues raised on an ongoing basis
• Ensure production issues gets resolved within SLA
• Ensure production issues are allocated to the correct SME, work with dev team lead to resolving timeously correctly
• Assist with facilitating emergency changes required on the production environment
• Ensure after hour support calls are answered and developer on support is contacted if required to assist
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues on SIT, E2E, UAT and production environments when needed
• Root cause analysis of Production Related Incidents
• Assist with release notes and deployment documentation for future releases
• Ensure production support documentation is maintained in Confluence
• Log production issues in JIRA
• Assist team to reduce production issues
• Assist teams with Testing Activities
