• Applications are invited for an energetic, creative and innovative Pre-Primary School teacher, who meets the below listed requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Responsible for whole-child development of a class of Pre-Primary School children
• Planning and preparation in alignment with the school’s Curriculum
• Comprehensive and continuous assessment and observation of each child’s development
• Daily professional interaction with parents
• Close teamwork and collegiality

Minimum Requirements    
Skills and Competencies:

• Must have the ability to identify with the values and ethos of the school
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with parents, staff and most importantly with young children
• Is motivated and uses initiative
• Must have a good command of the English Language (spoken and written)
• Strong computer skills, both for administrative purposes and ICT in the classroom
• Must have a warm and nurturing personality
• Willing to participate in continuous staff development

Desired experience and qualifications:

• 4-Year qualification, with ECD specialisation
• Proven Pre-Primary School teaching experience
• Valid SACE certification (minimum NQF level 6) and police clearance
