Datacentrix is looking for PreSales Specialists professional to supports the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process. The PreSales Specialist will be required to analyse customer requirements, deliver product demonstrations, and design tailored solutions to meet client needs. By collaborating with both sales and product teams, they help ensure customer confidence in the proposed solutions, addressing technical queries and aligning offerings with business objectives to support successful sales outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Matric plus related certification in the PreSales field
Experience in enhancing the sales process by conducting thorough needs assessments, demonstrating product value, arranging POC’s and addressing technical concerns early on, which accelerates the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the sales team around product suitability and service delivery expectations
Advise on bid/no bid decisions based on technical and commercial considerations
Articulate (through written submissions and oral presentations) solutions to both technical and non-technical customers
Support sales efforts with in-depth product and business knowledge
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company’s products and service offerings and methodologies
Work with the product development teams to capture new customer requirements and develop and expand the product portfolio
Work with the post-sales team in handing over any pre-sales efforts
Represent the company in a professional manner and build good relationships with clients to the company’s benefit
Producing detailed costings for customers and ensuring the contract is profitable.

Ensure that customers proposals are correct and of high quality, register projects effectively and early.
