    Pricing Analyst (Parts and pricing strategy)

    Executive summary

    • One of the largest and successful Agricultural groups in the world who are global leaders in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural solutions is looking for a Pricing analyst.
    • Would consider people from mining, construction, automotive, manufacturing or sim industries with a marketing knowledge of the African continent.
    • Looking for a “pricing guru” with strong Analytical and Execution and Strategic skills .

    Experience and qualifications (not limited to) in the following would be very advantageous.

    •        Extensive Pricing experience
    •        Relevant Bachelors Degree
    •         Will consider mining, construction, automotive, manufacturing or sim industries but preference will be given to candidates with Agricultural spares and equipment pricing experience (large and small scale)
    •        Experience working within a multi-brand environment , building cross-functional teams and a performance organization with varied skill-sets, driving brand differentiation strategy in product-focused organization
    •        Knowledge in pricing and forecasting & in supply chain management


    • Responsible for parts price list management & pricing strategy execution
    • Continued development & management of Syncron pricing tool within Africa region (inlc. building intelligence and automation into the pricing tool)
    • Reviews & consolidates pricing feedback from all internal and external business partners and customers
    • Collaborates with marketing team by providing profitability and pricing analysis, understanding market influences and providing regular pricing strategy refinement proposals
    • Supports Aftersales PMO by delivering reports, analysis or reviews in the context of the Syncron implementation project or independent initiatives

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Using data and insights to refine the pricing strategy for the Africa region.
    • Overseeing dynamic pricing changes in relation to shifting market conditions, and automating processes where possible.
    • Aligning with the wider Africa parts business and global regions to cascade organisational pricing strategies into Africa.
    • Communicating and presenting analysis, results and strategy refinements to senior stakeholders.
    • Working in a global setting / dealing with different cultures & markets.
    • Transform ambiguous, complex and incomplete data into insights.
    • Proposing & implementing appropriate price adjustments after reviewing infield feedback.

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree (Commerce or Business)
    • Excellent analytical skills and structured thinking
    • Confident & excellent communication skills evidenced
    • Team player aligning with multiple stake holders
    • Self-motivated, independent yet cooperatively delivering on agreed outcomes
    • Experience in pricing, ideally with Syncron
    • Experience with MS Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx or similar tools
