Job Description

• Our client, a leading producer, packer and exporter of premium citrus fruit based in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape is seeking an experienced Primary Health Care Nurse to oversee and manage our on-site health centre and wellness initiatives.
• The Health Care Nurse will attend to patients (our employees and community members) and manage our on-site health centre. The ideal candidate will combine strong clinical skills with the ability to run and coordinate all aspects of a busy clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Primary Health Care services to employees and community members
• Manage daily clinic operations, staff, and administration
• Play a supportive/overseeing role for the Occupational Health service provider
• Promote preventative health and wellness through education and screenings
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and reporting
• Manage clinic budgets and contribute to continuous improvement. Primary Healthcare qualification

Requirements

• Registered healthcare practitioner
• Minimum 5 years' experience in community or rural health, plus leadership experience
• Dispensing qualification will be advantageous
• Good understanding of occupational health will be advantageous
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Empathetic, professional, and passionate about community health
