What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to design effective, scalable, and secure AWS solutions.
• AWS Services Expertise: Stay updated with the latest AWS services and recommend the right ones for clients.
• Thought leadership: Lead deep architectural discussions with clients to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the AWS cloud.
• Architecture Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architecture documentation.
• Cloud Migration: Lead and assist in seamless cloud migrations.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security and compliance measures.
• Cost Optimization: Design cost-effective solutions and recommend optimization strategies.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure high availability and scalability of AWS solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships, particularly at C-level, and provide technical guidance.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Stay certified, encourage team certification, and share knowledge.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Additional AWS professional or specialty Certifications, such as;
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty.
• AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty.
• AWS Certified Security Specialty.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years experience as a Solutions Architect.
• 5+ years experience as a Solutions Architect in AWS environments.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven experience in providing technical leadership, mentoring teams, and guiding solution design.
• Experience with cloud cost management and optimization.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services, security, and compliance.
