Provides professional support to the Department/ Branch in respect of research and development of innovative waste disposal technologies to ensure sustainable service delivery and compliance with waste management permits / licenses and norms and standards.
Explore innovative technologies for futuristic waste disposal as well as useful end of life applications for operational and closed sites.
Focus on landfill gas to energy and waste to energy operations and maintenance contract(s).

Undertaking infrastructure development and project identification at pre-feasibility assessment level.
