Principal Programme Manager – Renewable Energy at Anglo American

Job Description:

We are seeking a Principal Programme Manager to co-ordinate and drive execution of the interconnected work streams required to establish the CleanCo company and manage its project development pipeline.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Develop and facilitate the Operating Model of CleanCo in its development phase
• Co-ordinate the integration of business development and project activities in the phases prior to CleanCo establishment
• Plan and facilitate 3-party governance processes
• Plan, schedule, track and report on critical CleanCo activities
• Support CleanCo leadership in integrated business activity execution
• Manage integration and interface points between CleanCo, EDF and Anglo American at an operational level

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree qualification (BSc technical discipline (Biosciences, Forestry, Geoscience, Chemical)
• Desirable: A postgraduate qualification (Masters / Doctoral degree or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline
• Programme management experience
• Experience in energy related project delivery
• Project management
• A reasonable understanding of the extractive industries
• Demonstrated experience in integrated project planning and delivery
• Fluency in English
• Desirable: fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
