    Principal Specialist : Lending Operation

    Role Purpose
    The Principal Specialist : Lending Operations and Sales is based within Vodacom Financial Services.

    Role purpose

    • The incumbent is required to provide day-to-day business , product and sales operational support to the Vodacom Financial Services Lending team. The incumbent will be responsible for the management of the internal and partner/supplier relationships for the execution of operational/support processes as well as prioritization and reporting as it relates to risk & compliance, reporting on sales & distribution and customer experience.
    • Further responsibilities include developing and implementing operational/support frameworks, acting as subject matter expert with regards to operations within the broader lending business.
    • Interact closely with other areas of VFS and / or Vodacom to ensure the lending value proposition requirements are embedded across the organisation.
       

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Business operations for VodaLend Business, Consumer and Airtime Advance
    • Partner management as it pertains to VFS Lending operations and support processes
    • Manage the VFS Sales and distribution team and channels to deliver on the targets set for the various sales channels
    • Implement and manage the end to end customer support processes for all Lending products
    • Participate in product and feature design as it pertains to operations within the Lending portfolio
    • Assist the business areas in embedding the VodaLend value proposition across VFS / Vodacom
    • Assist the lending product teams during the design of user journeys in feeding back learnings and best practice in relation to user feedback and experience
    • Liaise with the sales and distribution teams to put together and roll out user training, manage the sales funnel and report back to the broader lending team
    • Implementation of business , product and financial operations processes across the entire lending business

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Business Operation management and analysis
    • Setup of an operational framework for new products and evaluation and improvement of existing processes
    • Supplier/Partner management
    • Lending knowledge
    • Experience in setting up, vetting and managing operational service level agreements
    • Experience in scoping, designing and implementing operations reports
    • Call centre management experience

     

    Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
    BCom/BEng
