Render scientific and data curation of specimens in the herbarium;
Provide scientific information and plant identification services;
Contribute to digitisation of specimens in the herbarium;
Coordinate and conduct scientific curation processes;
Contribute to knowledge generation projects in the herbarium; and
Provide mentoring and training to staff and interns in the herbarium.
This position requires a degree in Botany, Life Sciences, Ecology or equivalent qualification at NQF 7. A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent qualification at NQF 8 will be an added advantage. This position requires 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
