Monitor production processes by adhering to defined procedures, conducting visual inspections of equipment and operations, identifying discrepancies, reporting issues to the foreman, and completing daily administrative tasks.
Complete shift handovers by compiling accurate shift information, documenting key updates, and communicating effectively with the incoming process controller as required.
Conduct basic fault finding by inspecting equipment and processes, identifying and reporting faults, and preparing equipment for maintenance in accordance with operational requirements.
Pre-commission, Commission, De-commission and Safe making of chemical equipment and systems in the process.
Quality check in the process by taking samples and analyse the product.
Take final product sample to the laboratory to be analysed.
Conduct safety inspecting, on safety equipment in the plant and on the equipment.
Comply with established processes through accurate implementation, continuous process awareness, and timely resolution of any areas of concern.
Propose process improvements by identifying opportunities, presenting recommendations to the line manager, and supporting suggestions with relevant information and insights.
Actively contribute to company-driven activities and consistently demonstrate the values in all professional interactions.
Requirements
Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent with English, Mathematics and Science.
QCTO Process Controller Certificate.
3+ years process control within mining or explosives industry.
