Process Controller - Warehouse (Vereeniging) at Ceramic Industries Group

Purpose of the Job:  

To assist the Gryphon warehouse team with the execution of sales, planning, & stock control on daily basis.

SKILLS, STRENGH and/or EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS.

• Previous warehouse experience will be an advantage.
• Forklift license will be an advantage.
• Matric or equivalent NQF level.
• Good written & verbal communication skills.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• Team player.
• Confidence, self – managed and disciplined.
• Attention to details.
• Willing to work long hours and shifts.
• Ability to identify problems, challenges and very methodical in finding solutions.
• Must take pride in his/her work area of responsibility.
• A positive attitude, ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS.

• Daily/Weekly & Monthly stock counts to ensure warehouse integrity.
• Filing of shipments loading & pickings sheet.
• Forklift inspections
• Picking & Verification of shipments
• Loading shipments onto trucks for delivery
• Warehouse process controls & Housekeeping
• Continuous improvements to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Quality of stacking & bin storage.
• Ensure all health, safety, quality & environmental regularity requirements are always adhered to.
