PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• To ensure that data is correctly captured, processed and approved for Raw Materials deliveries and consumptions to account for stocks. To ensure that all Raw Materials processes are monitored and controlled.

• Manage SHEQ compliance within the Section through effective use of the Toolbox
• Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

• RM stock days management and planning

• RM stock report management

• RM month end reports
• Transporter performance report and review
• Managing the stock report on MES (negative stocks)
• Month end recon report 
• Survey and recon data capturing and reporting
• QUALITY MANAGEMENT & RISK CONTROL
• Plant optimisation and improvements
• IMS and SHEQ targets
• Investigate survey discrepancies and reports
• Checkpoint deviations investigation and reports
• Continuous improvement projects
• Ensuring field prep for survey and verifying recon
• Quality Management and customer complaints
• Management of Monthly Service Level Agreements.
• SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION & UPDATES
• Tickets Approval
• Approval of check point deviations
• CUSTOMER/SUPPLIER SERVICE
• Attend to escalated supplier/transporter queries
• Site visits to suppliers and transporters for evaluations

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Degree or National Diploma in Logistics Management or similar qualification
• 4 years experience in Logistics/procurement of materials
• SAP/MES qualification/experience in material procurement and supplier reconciliation
