- Monitoring the operational conditions of machinery and equipment.

- Maintaining, selecting and establishing measurements with complex measuring equipment as well as tolerancing

Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- To administer the Cost and Financial Accounting function to Samancor in accordance with accepted Financial & Accounting policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
- Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status

- Management Reports:
- BU Management report administration
- Monthly reporting on Overtime, Fixed and Variable Reports, CSAP reports and any ad hoc reporting as required
- Weekly forecasting
- Daily cost analysis and reporting to relevant HODs.
- Budgeting:
- Quarterly forecasting
- Ad hoc forecasting
- Annual Budgeting
- Monthly:
- Process any ad hoc Purchase Requisitions as required
- Process Service Entry Sheets (SES)
- Provisions and reversals of all relevant liabilities and accruals
- Verify monthly Royalty and Merchant West payments

- Relevant Degree or Tecknikon Diploma
