    Procurement Administrator (6 Month Temporary Role)

    WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

    • Build good relations with existing suppliers/vendors to ensure the supplier supports Alpla’s requirements, whilst evaluating potential new sources of supply to bring added benefits.
    • Identify & support on savings projects in line with CAPIS requirements to meet the SSA savings target.
    • Accurately maintain supplier/vendor price lists on NAV*
    • Review supply requisitions/MRP, obtain quotations and process purchase orders with approved supplier/vendor, this includes material purchases and finished goods.
    • Interpret production plan and SOH into materials requirement for Alpla usage to process the purchase orders and ensure orders are timeously delivered as required through the supply expediting process.
    • Provides Safripol with Call off requirement per HT customer and per Alpla Own use.
    • Monitor stock levels ensuring that minimum stock-holding levels for high risk items are maintained per Risk Register.
    • Maintain monthly Procurement reports such as Master Vendor, Risk Register, EMIS Report, Corporate Resin Report.
    • Provide BEE spend report to Transformation team and ensure suppliers have valid BEE Certificates in the system
    • Resolve monthly finance queries with regards to receiving (delivery note), Purchase order and invoicing for materials.
    • To support in the NCR process by negotiating upliftment replacement mate-rial deliveries with suppliers. This may require supplier root cause analysis and corrective action to eliminate future occurrences

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

    • CIPS Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing company
    • A good understanding of operational procurement, procurement systems and processes, including good supplier relationship management.
    • Negotiation skills and good communication skills with people inside and out-side the organization are required
    • Ability to organize diverse information, analyse and resolve disputes
    • Strong understanding of factors that influence manufacturing cost and quality of operations is preferred
