    Professional Project Manager / Contract Manager – Building Construction Industry

    Job Description

    • We are recruiting an experienced Professional Project Manager / Contract Manager to join a well-established team in Cape Town. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong contract management expertise and proven experience managing projects from Stages 1 to 6.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee projects through all professional stages (Stages 1–6).
    • Apply and administer NEC and JBCC contracts
    • Guide and coordinate consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Manage and deliver capital and maintenance contracts for municipal and/or provincial bodies.
    • Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory, and governance requirements.
    • Act as a key liaison between stakeholders, consultants, and authorities.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Professional registration as a Pr CM (or minimum eligibility at this level).
    • Applied, hands-on knowledge of NEC and JBCC contract forms.
    • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and client relationships.
    • Demonstrated experience working on capital and maintenance projects for City and/or Provincial authorities (essential).
    • Experience acting as a Management Contractor or Implementing Agent for government departments will be a strong advantage.
