Icebolethu Group is currently in search of a Procurement Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services in compliance with Group Policies and Procedures within the Group Finance Department a Division of Icebolethu Group.

Responsibilities

• Manage vetting and evaluation of suppliers.
• Communicate policies and procedures to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Source quotations as per approved company policies and procedures.
• Negotiate prices and discounts with service providers.
• Negotiate, monitor and co-ordinate Service Level Agreements.
• Manage the procurement system for goods and services according to the approved specification.
• Monitor the stock demand and conduct periodic stock counts.
• Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness of the commitment register.
• Receive and verify goods against the purchase order.
• Resolve end-user departments and supplier queries regarding order status.
• Collect supplier B-BBEE information.

The following minimum requirements should be met in order to be considered:

• National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain management.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in procurement in a corporate environmentHonesty and integrity.
