This is an ideal opportunity for a career-focused individual to further their career in the inbound logistics profession. The successful candidate will report to the Procurement Management and take responsibility for the following:

• Assist in the management of the procurement and logistical operations
• Ensure and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
• Conduct market analyses and negotiations
• Manage inventory planning
• Maintain relevant procurement management systems, processes, procedures and strategies
• Assist with preparation and compliance of the departmental budget
• Maintain and grow supplier contracts
• Conduct/perform reporting and administration duties (e.g. products, price lists, etc.)

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, etc.)
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in procurement management
• Proven knowledge of agricultural crop protection products
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
• Good computer skills (MS Excel and Sage X3)
• Excellent negotiation, liaison and networking skills
• Aptitude in collecting and analysing data
• Self-driven and self-starter
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

A market-related remuneration package in accordance with qualifications, experience and seniority of the position, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
