Procurement Specialist - Food at Syndicate Personnel Specialists

Our Client, a leading global Food company has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain professional to manage their core food suppliers on a day-to-day basis to achieve the company objectives in terms of pricing and logistics.

• You will be required to establish the company’s quality standards with the distribution center and suppliers to ensure all products delivered are of the most suitable quality, at the most competitive price and are delivered on time.
• Sourcing experience will be required for selecting local suppliers who will satisfy the company’s quality standards.
• Your acquired quality and food safety experience will enable you to ensure that relevant suppliers have in place systems such as HACCP, GMP audits, traceability procedures, stock recovery, stock recovery plans and effective customer complaint handling systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A relevant Degree or National Diploma in Quality, Food Technology, Supply Chain or equivalent coupled with at least 4 to 6 years Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing experience within the Food or Beverage industry is required.
