Procurement Specialist: Non-Motor at Sanlam Group

What will you do?

Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files.  Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.

What will make you successful in this role?

• Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4 

• Diploma or Certificate in procurement or supply chain management or

• Business Management Qualification would be advantageous 

• Minimum 10 years short term insurance experience

• Minimum 5 years Claims Procurement experience – Experience in building claims preferential

Deliverables include, but will not be limited to

• Conducting research on prospective commodities

• Supporting cross functional teams

• Negotiating contracts

• Monitoring and maintaining supplier relationships

• Relationship Management /Stakeholder engagement

• Ensure that suppliers understand the terms of the MiWay agreement and that all governance requirements are met
