    Development Manager: Retail Affluent: SanlamConnect

    What will you do? 

    This role is responsible for the direct coaching, vesting, developing, supervising and performance managing of a portfolio of newly appointed financial advisers for the first 24 months (the vesting and development period) of their employ ensuring they are retained, competent and productive as quickly as possible.


    Supervision and management of financial advisers during first 24 months of employment encompassing the following outputs:

    •    Activity, productivity and performance management of newly appointed advisers
    •    Up skilling newly appointed advisers on products, technical knowledge, systems, processes, compliance, legislation, etc.
    •    Focused Coaching and Vesting to ensure that the FA undergoes all the necessary steps, processes and requirements to become vested as quickly as possible to full productivity.
    •    Focused Development of FA’s in the different market segments i.e. Estate Planning, Investments, etc.
    •    Recruitment of Financial Advisers
    •    Sourcing and vesting new advisers in Key Accounts
     


    What will make you successful in this role? 

    Qualification & experience 
    •    Matric
    •    Wealth Management /Financial Planning qualification
    •    FAIS i.e. RE 5 & 120 Industry Credits
    •    CFP would be an advantage
    •    Management/Coaching Diploma would be advantageous
    •    Marketing & Sales experience in the financial services industry.
    •    3 – 5 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser /Planner  in the middle to affluent market segment (proven track record)
    •    Experience in mentoring/vesting of advisers
    •    Previous management role would be advantageous
    •    COB and CPD points

    Procurement Specialist: Non-Motor

    What will you do?

    Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files.  Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4

    Accounting Clerk - Claims

    What will you do?

    A position for an Accounting Clerk exists at Santam RE  for a passionate and energetic individual who will be based in Tygerpark, Bellville. 

    The main responsibility will entail executing the financial aspects of all cash and accounting transactions relating to claims for inwards reinsurance.
     

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Account for all inwards reinsurance claims and cash transactions in the general ledger.

    • Maintain all inwards reinsurance claims and cash registers.

    • Process inwards reinsurance claims transactions in the underwriting system

    • Perform all controls associated with claims and cash registers, including various reconciliations.

    • Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with the various stakeholders (most notably claims administrator and underwriters).

    • Provide support to the financial accounting team.

    • Provide support to the credit control team.

    • Adhere to tight monthly deadlines critical to overall Group Reporting timetable.

    Qualification and Experience

    Test Analyst DRS (Re-run)

    What will you do?

    This role has the primary responsibility to plan, structure and undertake business- and system testing processes. It will also undertake application testing within the SannPay Finance application and integration testing with other systems.  This role works closely with other Business Analysts, System Analysts, IT development and Audit to ensure business requirements for new solutions/changes are met and implemented correctly.

    • Identify, define and design new functionality and regressive test requirements

    • Perform test scheduling and execution (manually/automated)

    • Identify and create test data

    • Perform test case preparations and design, assist with the scripting of automated test cases, conditions and checkpoints

    • Develop test scenarios, including preparing test scripts to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results

    • Perform test reporting based upon coverage and clearance statistics

    • Perform test documentation compilation

    • Identify and analyse defects, log defects and track defect resolution within release time frames

    • Risk identification and reporting

    • Perform scope and test effort estimations

    • Analyse risks, develop contingencies, and plan testing accordingly

    • Extract information, as requested by clients, from different data basis

    • Liaison with Development Team, System Analyst, Business Analysts as well as Middle Management/Project Management on errors, issues and risks

    • Assistant with user acceptance testing

    • Support and assistance with SanlamConnect Finance, DRPA, MIS, DRS & Source System(s), i.e. CMS

    • Trend analysis of incidents and proposals to Senior Business Analyst to eliminate problem areas

    Qualification and experience

    • An appropriate tertiary qualification

    • A relevant testing related qualification be advantageous

    • 3-5 years testing experience is preferred

    • Experience as a tester in an accounting / remuneration environment will be advantageous
