Product Adminstrator at Mercedes-Benz South Africa Ltd

Objective of the job:

• To ensure efficient and effective product planning support according to specified processes in order to optimize market share, profitability and customer appeal while controlling related costs in compliance to the Company's Integrity & Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy & S.H.E. requirements and to perform delegated S.H.E. tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Main Tasks:

• Management of master data.
• Support Product Specialists in derivation of Product Planning Strategy.
• Uploading and maintaining product details in system.
• Publication of Product-related Measures.
• Ensure timely update & publication product contents, specifications, and pricelists.
• Product updates on the Mercedes-Benz Website (incl. configurator)
• Sales product training material.
• Supporting with preparation of sales training material
• Vehicle Homologation.
• Engagement with the local supplier for homologation planning and preparation.
• Management of payments
• Projects and Reporting.
• Support ad-hoc projects
• Ad-hoc-reporting
• Specification Meeting stock and information preparation
• Update competitor analysis on the regular basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Product Knowledge will advantageous.
• Processes and Systems (SAP Wholesale Template).
• Process driven & Analytical.

Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience in the automotive industry.
• Applicable to both internal and external applicants
