Product Design /Procurement and Logistic Coordinator (Remote/Hybrid) – New Germany, KZN at Pro Stop Recruitment Services

Key Responsibilities:

Product Designing, Sourcing and Development:  

• Develop partnerships with key suppliers
• Cooperate with product development team to communicate design specifications by sourcing products and negotiating with factories.
• Identify product trends and use findings to apply to development strategies.
• Create detailed and targeted product and raw material briefs for supply partners
• Obtaining quotes from factories and logging product specification details such as dimensions, weights, packaging types
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and factories

Communication and Coordination:

• Act as the liaison between the sales team, sourcing contacts, and factories, ensuring clear communication across different cultures and time zones.

Quality and Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure factories comply with audits and product standards, maintaining PME Cake's commitment to quality.

Negotiation and Cost Management:

• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Organizational Excellence:

• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in product development, designing and sourcing, preferably in a related industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with non-native English speakers.
• Ability to work across different time zones and cultures.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with global teams.
