An innovative maritime and space technology company is looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer with a passion for electronics, product design, and manufacturing.
The successful candidate will work with a small, dedicated engineering team to develop and maintain test equipment and software, manage production, and coordinate components and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain product test equipment and software.
Ensure reliable and accurate test and manufacturing documentation in collaboration with the development team.
Manage production schedules and coordinate component purchasing.
Oversee suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and ship products.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize product performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues during development and production.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Electronic Engineering.
Experience designing, manufacturing, and testing analog and digital electronic circuits.
Basic C# programming skills.
Proficient with test and measurement equipment to validate hardware designs.
Familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office.
Strong interest in electronics, product design, and manufacturing.
