Product Manager: Managed Hosting at Salt South Africa

• The Product Manager for Managed Hosting will take ownership of a critical product area that includes web hosting and managed server solutions. Reporting into senior product leadership, you’ll be responsible for setting the product vision, shaping strategy, and driving outcomes across the full product lifecycle.
• You’ll act as the product champion for this space, balancing customer needs, technical realities, and commercial goals. The role also includes people leadership, guiding and supporting a small team of Product Owners while creating an environment where they can do their best work.
• You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, support, and executive leadership to ensure the platform evolves in a way that is competitive, scalable, and customer-centric.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Owning the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for managed hosting
• Leading and mentoring Product Owners, supporting growth, performance, and wellbeing
• Translating strategic goals into clear priorities and initiatives
• Making informed trade-offs around investment, delivery effort, risk, and customer impact
• Using customer insight, data, and market research to guide decision-making
• Driving competitive positioning across platform capability, UX, pricing, and packaging
• Partnering cross-functionally to deliver value end-to-end
• Tracking product performance and continuously improving outcomes
• Contributing to a healthy, sustainable product culture built on trust and servant leadership
