    Product Marketer

    Description

    Electrum is an exciting B2B software company that is growing at an exponential rate. Our customers include some of South Africa's biggest household names, and we are looking for you to help us extend our reach.

    You will join our growing marketing team and work closely with the sales, product and technical teams to develop and drive product marketing campaigns that grow our business.

    As Electrum's product marketer you will collaborate and execute against our marketing and sales strategy to generate awareness and marketing qualified leads. Conceptualising, executing, measuring and optimising campaigns will be key components of your daily tasks. We will do this by mapping demand generation programs and nurture streams to personas within our buyer and customer journeys, managing campaign budgets and determining the marketing tactics to execute against.

     

    Daily execution and duties include but are not limited to:

    • Market segmentation and go-to-market collaboration sessions to jointly define the product marketing strategy
    • Own the end-to-end campaign enablement
    • Contribute relevant content
    • Analyse, optimise and report against each campaign
    • Database management
    • Manage external events
    • Utilise sales and marketing software tools
    • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and behaviours
    • Collaborate with agencies, as required
    • Work within budget
    • Ensure brand standards are met

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications
    • Two years demonstrable outbound prospecting, segmentation and lead generation tools experience
    • B2B technology experience a bonus
    • Highly proficient with Google tools
    • Understanding of social media advertising
    • Understanding of event management
    • Familiarity with content management systems, marketing analytics tools and other martech solutions
    • Familiarity with SEO and keyword research best practices
