    What your first 0-6 months would look like:

    Revenue Operations Analyst

    Your key responsibilities include

    • Own the end-to-end process of tracking sales and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve sales funnel performance, including:
      • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
      • Pipeline growth, sales velocity, win/loss rates, and track targets
      • Regular check-ins with the teams that contribute to opportunity development to confirm sales opportunities are tracking against plan and assist in solving any blockers
      • Managing and maintaining lead and sales data in our CRM and other software programs
      • Managing and maintaining sales process adherence with Sales Representatives
    • Manage our CRM system (Pipedrive) to give a single view of our customer and prospect portfolios, including:
      • Dashboards and reports, both in CRM and beyond, to track sales operations and cross-functional efficiencies, and identify areas for improvement
      • Integrations between the CRM and and Electrum’s other systems
      • Identify additional new CRM systems (e.g. salesforce) or non-CRM sales tools and systems that may enable more efficient sales and cross-functional collaboration
      • Train teams to utilise the chosen systems to increase sales efficiencies
    • Conduct general revenue operations activities with the support of the Sales and Marketing Managers including:
      • Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and create playbooks to enhance new sales, expansion sales and up-sell opportunities
      • Support the sales team with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas
      • Refine lead qualification process, analyse and report on website, content and campaign performance
      • Creating and maintaining department policies, procedures, training manuals, and sales-related resource material
      • Assisting with defining and tracking against Key Performance Indicators
      • Assisting with on-boarding and training new team members

    What your first six months will look like

    Within your first month you will be formally onboarded to all Electrum’s human-centric practices, such as our easy time logging and collaborative style, and be immersed in regular contact with the sales and marketing teams. Once onboarded you’ll start to delve into the data and our existing processes. By your third month you’ll have single handedly produced your first set of reports and will be able to identify optimisation best practices. At some point during this time you’ll no doubt also have identified the shortcomings of our existing tools and you’ll start to evaluate ways to bring in a single view of our customers from marketing to sales, project implementation, support and billing across the organisation. Six months in and, you will be rocking our world with data driven insights that will be applied to help us scale, and you will be participating in revenue strategy and company strategy sessions on a quarterly basis.

    Requirements

    • University degree in Sciences, Engineering, Maths, Commerce or Finance (you must have completed courses in maths or statistics as part of your studies with strong results)
    • Strong analytical skills
    • 2+ years work experience (time spent doing a post-grad thesis for a Masters or PHD would count as well)
    • Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Google Sheets or similar (the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, vlookups etc. is essential)
    • Demonstrated interest in the world of tech
    • Excellent verbal and written english communication skills
