    Motor Vehicle Technician - JHB

    Experience Required:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician (Required)
    • Qualified Technician
    • Strong communication skills

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Servicing and Repair: Perform meticulous servicing and repairs on vehicles booked into the dealership, ensuring they are returned to optimal condition.
    • Accurate Diagnosis: Utilize your diagnostic expertise to pinpoint issues accurately and report findings promptly for efficient resolution.
    • Tool Maintenance: Keep diagnostic tools updated and in prime condition to facilitate precise diagnosis and repair.
    • Parts Coordination: Work closely with parts sales executives to procure relevant and correct parts, maintaining a seamless workflow.
    • Issue Management: Notify management promptly of any service-related issues to ensure swift resolution and maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Client Interaction: Engage with clients by scheduling vehicle bookings, checking in customers, and conducting follow-ups to provide exceptional service.

    • Maintaining Standards: Uphold the principles of 5'S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) at all times to create a safe and organized work environment.
    • Cost Management: Understand the costing of job cards and ensure accuracy in cost estimation and billing processes.

    Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician - Pretoria North

    Requirements:                                  

    • Matric
    • Motor Vehicle Trade Test qualification
    • Valid drivers license
    • Clear criminal record
    • Minimum 2 years Motor Vehicle Technician experience after qualifying

    Responsibilities:

    • Inspecting customer vehicles
    • Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both manual and computerised diagnostic equipment

    • Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of stitching/weaving processes as well as knowledge of various types of yarn and related technical aspects.
    • Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining warehouse machinery and equipment.
    • Hands-on Skills: Ability to perform manual tasks efficiently and effectively, especially those related to stitching/weaving and equipment maintenance.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
    • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control measures, including stock organization, replenishment, and audits.

    Electrician (Electrical Reticulation Experience) - George

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, maintain, and repair Medium Voltage electrical systems, including Cast Iron equipment.
    • Perform jointing and termination work on both mulitcore & single core PILCA & XLPE insulated cables.
    • Conduct inspections and testing of Medium Voltage equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
    • Safely work with Indoor, Outdoor & Overhead Line equipment, adhering to all safety protocols.
    • Utilize expertise in cable fault location & cable testing to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Complete MV switching operations as required, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
    • Maintain up-to-date certifications, including ORHVS, MV switching, and Working at Heights.
    • Provide proof of experience and quality of work during the interview process.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in working with Cast Iron and 11/22 & 33kV Medium Voltage systems.
    • Expertise in mulitcore & single core PILCA & XLPE insulated joints & terminations.
    • Familiarity with Indoor, Outdoor & Overhead Line equipment.
    • Working at Heights course completed.
    • Up-to-date medicals and ORHVS certification obtained within the last 2 years.
    • MV switching certification and experience.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
