    Independent Contractors: Internal Audit Specialist (X5)

    • SANParks requires the services of five (5) Independent Contractors: Internal Audit Specialists. These roles will be for a period of three (3) years and will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

    Requirements

    • Be in possession of a Degree/BTech in Auditing / Internal Auditing / Accounting. Postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.

    Mega Living Landscape Internship (12 Months Fixed-Term Contract)

    • SANParks is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a Mega Living Landscapes Intern in the Park Planning and Development Unit. Mega Living Landscapes are a reimagining of how to manage and conserve biodiversity on a much greater scale and in a more inclusive manner.
    • They acknowledge the interconnectedness between biodiversity protection, climate resilience and the well-being of people.
    • The Mega Living Landscapes (MLL) Intern will assist with project planning and implementation within the Cape and Garden Route Regions which offers exposure to biodiversity stewardship and cross sectoral extension, landowner and stakeholder engagement and protected area expansion (contract national parks).
    • Support will be needed for projects which aim to unlock key aspects in the process of expanding existing protected areas through focused, technical assistance and facilitating broader landscape scale conservation activities through awareness and capacity building, The position will be stationed in Cape Town.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Nature Conservation, Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, or related field.
