Sanlam Life and Savings (SLS) is focused on serving our retail and corporate clients in South Africa and further developing our strategic advantages in the South African market. Sanlam Life and Savings consists of three clusters - Sanlam Corporate, Sanlam Retail Mass and Sanlam Retail Affluent. The Sanlam Life and Savings Office provides strategic direction, coordination and support to the three clusters, as well as performing governance oversight that includes assurance provided by second line of defense functions in SLS, to enable us to meet our business objectives.
What will you do?
This role exists in our Sanlam Reality business which focuses on the client engagement element of the group through it’s loyalty and rewards offering
What will make you successful in this role?
To be successful in this role, you will need to excel at the following:
Participate in the formulation of the Sanlam Reality sales and support strategy that must be executed within the SanlamConnect environment
Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with key stakeholders – Sanlam Reality management, SanlamConnect Manco, Intermediaries, Regional Marketing teams, and advisors
Lead the promotion of the Reality CVP within the SanlamConnect business (intermediaries and brokers) through effective intermediary and broker engagements – sales meetings, training, sales support. Represent Sanlam Reality at internal and external events – conferences, promotions, activations.
Provide regular sales performance reporting to key stakeholders (Sanlam Reality management, Regional Executives and General Managers, Business Managers, etc), supported with tactical plans to improve and/or maintain performance levels.
Provide sales support to intermediaries, brokers, and advisors to ensure that they have the necessary information and tools to promote Sanlam Reality to their clients.
Qualification And Experience
Tertiary qualification, a degree in a commercial or sales discipline will be advantageous.
2-5 years relationship and sales management experience, with experience in the SanlamConnect business being advantageous
1-2 years experience within the Loyalty and Rewards sector will be advantageous.
